When I pulled up to the Powel Crosely Estate and Museum last week to do a walk through with Brittany, I literally jumped for joy. The same sensation mingled with the butterflies when I returned this past Saturday. The building is stately. It is an Estate, so I guess that makes sense. It is a stately Estate. One filled with mounds of detail, secret look-through passages, light drenched rooms, ceiling beams, painted and terracotta tiles, and placed right next to the water. It looked like someone turned a book upside down and it dropped right out of a fairy tale. And that's before I saw the twinkling lights come on at night. That's before I saw Brittany in her gown.
I could immediately tell why Brittany and David chose this location for their wedding. It fits their elegance, their richness of character, and their brightness. Their purple and green color scheme was garden fresh, with immaculate florals created by Bee Ridge Flowers . They chose some extra special vendors, and there are a few surprises I can't wait to share! Since these are just the sneak peek I'll try and contain myself and stop here. I can definitely tell you it was an incredible way to kick off the month and I can't wait to share the whole story in the next few weeks!
Congratulations David and Brittany!
