Amanda and Josh

It's been a crazy few weeks for sure as I get ready for my first real gallery show (!!!) BUT when my very good friend Jill asked me to photograph her sisters wedding there was no way I would have said no. This family is pretty much the most beautiful, fun and kind group I've ever known..the sort of people that you pray every wedding will have. And in combination with the groom's family, it was a night to remember and a complete blast. The weather was beautiful, the location was gorgeous, and I can't thank them enough for letting me participate in such a special day. Congratulations Amanda and Josh!!!

Attention Class of 2010!

So you're graduating: You're going to take a thousand pictures this year, snap shots that will help you remember how the football players dressed up in drag, how dang hot you and your friends looked at homecoming, how your date spewed pasta sauce from his nose and onto your dress (uggghh) because you were laughing so hard from giving the waiters a hard time at prom. You'll capture every event.. and it shouldn't be any other way.

But somehow all of those moments become compressed, rather unfairly, into a single image. Your senior photo. An idiom of who you are at this ground breaking time of really 'making it on your own.' You already know your Mom is going to grab a huge 8x10 and it'll be placed upon a walls and mantle. And it WILL be stuck there for many, many years to come. I can't control what goes into the yearbook, (Brynn Allen was a terrible experience)but I can help take some fantastic pictures to give to the rest of the world.

You'll be sending them to family in your graduation announcements. You'll be giving them in thank you notes, and sending them with holiday cards. Everyone who cares about you is going to want a picture, and I would like to give you some options. I want to show the world the real you, a you that isn't stifled by a black drape, with a rose in your hand. I'm not going to ask you to raise eyes 34 degrees, and place your hand under your chin while turning your body at a 56 degree line perpendicular to the table. And honestly, (guys and girls both,) how hard is it to give a convincing smile while you're drowning in the vapors of b.o. and mold. Those things stink!!!

I want to give you the option of printing as many as you like without having to pay per sheet. (It adds up!) I want to hang out for awhile, have a little adventure, and really pull out who you are.
You want to do it for cheaper?! Senior discount for 25% off: just send me the name of your high school.
